Are dental schools a good place to get simple dental work done?

I have about 3 or 4 fillings needed. This is a major state university dental school I'm wondering about.

Are dental schools a good place to get simple dental work done?
Yes, you will receive great care, and the work is checked at least by two different people. The only two disadvantages I can really think of are the time commitment, and material selection. If you want "white" fillings, depending on where the cavities are in the mouth, it may not happen. Secondly it will take 3-4 visits to have this done at about 2-3 hours each time. If you can live with that, its great. Good luck!
Reply:Yep, its ALOT cheaper and you have students working on you but there are the proffessors right there watching everything they do.
