I am looking for things that might be feel better after the dental work on the 15 of August. I am looking for things that dont mix with my medications but make feel better before and after. I dont care if I need get more medications or not. I am looking for easy the pain before and after it.

How much pain would I feel after major dental work.?
chances are you will have some pain.. but with doctor prescribed pain killers that should help you handle the pain!

If you have been toleration foot pain... you should be able to handle this mouth pain knowing it will go away eventually.

Good luck
Reply:Your doctor will write you a prescription for some pain killers when your teeth are pulled. It really isn't that bad usually, and the best part is that the mouth is one of the fastest healing parts of the human body. Just make sure to keep your mouth clean by rinsing with salt water so you won't get any infections. Also, make sure not to drink out of straws until you are healed because that can force the blood clot out. Just keep biting down on some gauze for about an hour or so after surgery to stop the bleeding, and you should be fine. Make sure you have some foods at home that don't require a lot of chewing for afterwards.
Reply:I personally didn't have to take anything after having my wisdom teeth were removed. If anything you may want to take some other over-the-counter medication (Tylenol or Advil) but I don't think you will need much more than that. But I’m not sure how they would interfere with your other medication so talk to your dentist about it and they will help you out.
Reply:Even if you are taking medication for chronic foot pain you need to have a new medication after your dental surgery. If you have wisdom teeth you may want to consider having them removed while having the your dental work. You did not mention if you are having them removed while they are giving you medication to have you sleeping at the same time .I would talk with the dentist about that. If he will have you sedated. If he does not have that to offer, maybe he would refer you to an oral surgeon. As far as your pain is concerned, the dentist will give you pain medication to use after your teeth are removed. You really should have questions directed to your dentist. The dentist needs to know about your medications you are taking and if you have any allergies to medications, food etc.If he gives you medication to ease your pain, you should ask for it. You do not take your other medicine you have for chronic pain (because you have been on it for an extended time, it is considered chronic pain. You need to save it and use it for your foot pain) If you are given a pain medication check with your primary doctor or the dentist and have them to instruct you whether he wants to or if you may take the medication the day of your dental work and/or after. Most dentists usually will give you a prescription for pain medication shortly before your dental work so that you will have it and be able to take it right after your dental work. This way your pain will be controlled before it feels too bad. Remember, consult with your dentist or oral surgeon about, how much pain you will be in, ask for pain medication , and how long you will be in healing. He probably would have you to take an antibiotic before and after the procedure. You might continue with the one that you are taking already or perhaps another one. You may have built a resistance to the one you are now taking. You did not mention whether the dentist gave it to you or if your foot doctor has given it to you. The main thing is to be sure you are aware of all the things you will experience and what to expect afterwards. You may need to write the questions that you have down on paper so that you will not forget to ask. It will be painful but you will be able to control the pain with the pain medication. Be informed. .
