Dental work?

how does anyone out there afford dental work?i have no ins, and can not afford insurance

Dental work?
I have AmeriPlan and it's a good program. You can save up to 80 per cent on any kind of dental work. It's a discount program, so it's better than insurance in a sense that you can use it as soon as you receive it. I wish I would have waited and joined this month, because they are doing a special where you can get it for like $3 a month for 3 months.
Reply:Thanks for making me best answer!

Sorry, this web site didnt come out all the way http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/... Report It

Reply:Even WITH insurance it's expensive. I just used all my savings on what I had done. All you can do is ask the dentist if he has financing so you can make payments. Sucks I know.
Reply:IDK. I have upcoming work to be done and I'll be freakin' stretched thin. My insurance covers almost zip.
Reply:i had all my teeth done and have two braces. It cost me a fortune and I'm still bankrupt because of it and I will have to pay for it for the next two years.
Reply:make payments you will probably have to have some money up front
Reply:Barter if you have a service the dentist needs like lawn care
Reply:Dental Schools are a great way to go if you can't afford it

Dental Work?

Is there a way to get dental work done for free or very low cost for someone with limit cash flow and no insurance in NY?

Dental Work?
You might want to check with a college of medicine that has dentistry section. Your worked on by interns who are tops in their class and are supervised. Normally the students are in the top 1 - 3% and are using this experience to get just a better grip on the real world of dentistry.

Check your yellow pages for the name and number under colleges, medical schools etc. I know that in Houston it is UTMB I do not however know what the schools name would be for your area.

Good luck.
Reply:Locate the nearest dental school in your area. They do good work at the lowest price.
Reply:dental school's are always looking for victims, errr....patients.

;D
Reply:A DENTAL SCHOOL IS YOUR LEAST EXPENSIVE OPTION. BY THE WAY, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE DENTAL WORK.
Reply:If you have a green card, it costs almost nothing but it takes a long time. I have an excellent dental plan, and using it my bill was slashed by 45%, but I got the work done in two weeks and got extractions done and dentures too! Feel free to call me on 832 632 4332 and discuss it. Wesley.

Dental work?

I need dental work because of bad mistakes in the past. But I don't have the money to pay for $3,000 work on my mouth. Where can I go to have this work done for practically free? It makes my self esteem so low.

Dental work?
Chances are that it will be cheaper if you go to a dental college instead of to a regular dentist's office.

Dental work?

I need about 7800$ worth of dental work done (that is with insurance) but I have bad credit. does anybody know where to go?

Dental work?
Managed Dental Care Plans: Your dentist receives some money each month from your insurance company. In turn, your dentist must meet all or any of your dental requirements within an agreed time frame. The problem that these plans have is that the dentists your insurance company chooses can have one clinic, making it difficult for you to meet the appointments. http://www.freewebs.com/getanswer/Dental...
Reply:You can apply for care credit. IT is a medical credit card to use for dental or eye care.
Reply:I was going to suggest Care Credit also, but if you have bad credit, I don't know if they'd take you. Plus, I don't like the way their billing works....
Reply:Hi,

I work for a company who accepts all ongoing dental conditions. For only $19.95 per month, you can get 60-80% off all dental work and really save a lot of money, if you go to a provider in your area.

This is only for the United States however...

Please visit the website below.. You can also call me (number is at the website) for details about the plans!

bad credit doesn't matter either...

If you are intersted in rebuilding/reconstructing your teeth and possible implant in Hungary I can put you in touch with a brilliant dentist (husband and wife are both dentists). They did my brothers teeth and it was very cheap. The results: well, my brother was so impressed, he even fixed the dentist's personal computer for free (he's an IT software/hardware expert). Going to Hungary would be involve a flight and accommodation but it could still prove cheaper than doing it in the UK. Contact me if you are intersted, I can even get you a price list. Good luck!
Reply:You can ring NHS Direct for advise on this, assuming you are in the UK. 0845 46 47 (24hrs). If they cannot tell you straight away they will get back to you. Whatever options they give and whatever option you pot for I don't think you will be able to avoid footing some of the bill though, soory.
Reply:Are you on any benefits? If you are on income support, jobseekers allowance or tax credits, then you are automatically entitled to free NHS dental treatment.

If you work then I am afraid you have to pay for treatment unless you are named on an HC2 charges certificate. If you are on a low wage then it may be worth your while applying for one. You can get the application form (HC1) from your chemist. Sometimes on this you may have to pay some of the cost but it would be worth finding out.

I dont think that you would e able to get implants on the NHS but you would definately be able to get dentures or possibly a bridge.
Reply:Hi there..Im a dentist in Ireland so Im not sure how it works in the UK but in Ireland if u have a medical card u can get fillings and extractions done for free but not elective work, ie so called cosmetic dentistry such as crowns and so on.

Many people claim from prsi.

Hungary is a cheaper alternative, restorative work is cheaper..might be worht checking out some places in budapest on the net and getting a loan if needs be..

Sorry I dont know more about the system there but I imagine its like here and yes u probably will have to foot a fair bit of the bill

Its a good investment though
Reply:First of all you need to descover why you lost all those teeth. Many can be the reasons and different can be the solution.Example:if you lost your teeth because of periodontal problems, there might not be the possibility to put implants, because wouldn't have enough bone. What you can do is try to get a visit in the hospital of the dental university, where ,if they are interested in your case, you can get the job done for less money. But trust me dental status is so important, that it is better to save money.
Reply:I doubt if the NHS will pay for you to have implants, its only available privately and they cost about 2000 pounds each, why don't you try partial dentures? I doubt you will be able to get a bridge on your left side as you only have 1 tooth there and bridges need to have teeth to support them and the gap would be too wide. If you are from the UK and have a low income you can get help with your dental treatment. Ask your dentist for a HC2 form and they will decide if you are eligible for help.

Dental Work?

My front two teeth are wonky. Basically the right front toothe overlaps the left one a little bit, so they look bad. I'm a model and I'm sick of only having shots to the left of me (as this side makes it look as though I have no dental problems).

I also don't want braces. Please don't give me any lectures about braces or anything....all I want to know is that is it possible to have an operation or something that can sort my front teeth out?

I have also been wondering about Invisalign; any recommendations would be useful and also how much would any dental work be.

Thanks

Dental Work?
If you don't want braces, you could always have those two teeth extracted and have a 4-unit bridge made... but that's going to the extreme. It would run you approx $3500. The 'plus' side to this is you'd have your 'perfect' smile in less than a month. The 'down' side to this is extracting two healthy teeth and prepping two others for the bridge...

If you do the Invisalign, it will take quite a while until they're straightened out...

Maybe a consultation appointment with your dentist is in order?

Best of Luck~

:)
Reply:If you don't want braces, I would suggest Invisalign-you can take the little trays off to eat and brush your teeth.

I don't know of any surgery that can straighten the teeth out.
Reply:I'd say invisalign. An ex-boyfriend had the surgery to replace his teeth with veneers and it was painful. They have to cut your gums up then shave down your natural teeth to little stubs then place a fake tooth on. You'd have to go back every so often to have them checked for looseness- wouldn't want one to fall off and show your little stubby-creepy tooth! Good Luck!
Reply:Invisalign would have been best but for your work/modeling profile that is not going to allow you to wear them for almost 24 hours a day (except when taking food) so very necessary to see any results emerge.

The following are your other options in terms of priority:

1) Braces, dear, braces which you don't seem to like without putting much reasoning to it. Consult an orthodontist doing lingual braces, and your opinion will change. No lectures here!

2) Extractions and immediate load implants

3) Extractions and replacing with a 4 unit bridge.

Once you make an informed choice, price becomes insignificant.
Reply:A quick way to make your smile perfect is Lumineers. It will cover up the imperfection. Check out their website for more details. Good luck with your modeling career!

Is it safe to have dental work done when you're pregnant? By dental work, i mean minor stuff. Getting a cavity filled. Will the injected novocaine hurt the baby?

Dental Work?
yeah i dont think your suppose to have any time of numbing medication when your pregnant because i had to get a filling done and the dentist wouldnt do it because i was pregnant
Reply:you can get all the novacaine you want! no x-rays though. or if you do get x-rays, they will double up the radiation things that you wear.
Reply:Just wait until you have the baby.. I have been waiting and I have a killer cavity!
Reply:Hmm... I've had a tooth pulled and a cavity filled while pregnant. Dentists are afraid to give pregnant women any kind of meds... they can call your doctor so they can approve the pain relief shot. Ask your OB. He/she can give you a written note. Or the dentist can call them.... this way may take a bit longer.

Good luck!!!! Don't wait to get things done when you don't have too!!! :) Baby will be fine!!! Congrats!

X-rays are fine too! They do double up on the jacket thingy.
Reply:You should avoid gas and general anesthesia for a dental procedure during pregnancy. local anesthetics like novocaine are OK. but, try and wait until after your first trimester to have the work done. so, get it done during your second and before your third begins.
Reply:Just let the dentist know that you're pregnant. If they can't do a procedure then they will wait till you aren't pregnant anymore.
Reply:Your OB/GYN will usually give you a note stating exactly what dental care specifically you can and cannot get. Are you trying to do this without an OB/GYN, too? It's fine to have both an OB/GYN and a midwife. But, judging by your questions, if you have an ob/gyn, most of what your asking would be answered at your initial visit with him or her.

Dental Work?

What different kinds of dental procedures could be done to fix 2 fanged teeth.

I thought of veneers, but when I researched it I found that my case may be a bit to severe for veneers. I also do not want braces or anything that is visible. I also considered Invisalign and dental implants, neither of which will work for me. Are their any other options?

Dental Work?
Not sure but I've had cosmetic dental work done at a discount. www.betterbenefits.info Check it out before you spend thousands on that beautiful smile.

Dental work?

can you make payments a little at time like when you buy a car when you get major dental work or do you have to pay all at one time and if you can make payments how long can you drag it out?? Also can you get a loan from the bank for dental work?

Dental work?
It all depends on the dental office you go to.
Reply:Most will work with you on a payment plan...Some work is so expensive, people need to make payments...
Reply:Some offices except payments, most around here want payment upfront, or at least half now the rest within 3 months, check into carecredit or the types of financing that your dental office offers. Usually loans come from places like American general finance, or none bank institutions with high interest rates .. would probably be better off to make payments to a low interest visa card if you have one.
Reply:Making payments would depend on your dentist. And yes you can get a loan from a bank
