where can I get free or reduced dental (mostly cosmetic) work done. I have insurance...but it only covers up to $1000.00

literally go to a foreign country like Uruguay. Dental is so cheap :)
Reply:Walk into a hospital that has dental services and speak only Spanish, act like you dont' speak English at all.
Otherwise, you're SOL. Real American citizens who have been paying into the system for years have an extremely difficult time getting anything back out of it.
Reply:Check out the local Universities. Some of the dental school's offer work by students.. Excellent work too.. they do have payment schedules too.
Reply:If there is a Dental School within reasonable driving distance, check it out. Junior and Senior students need patients and you need work. Professors check the work at each stage; there fore slow, but good.
Reply:Check out Mexican Dental Vacation. They have a Seattle dentist working there, and their prices are about half of what you would pay in the US. As a bonus, they are in the resort ciyt of Mazatlan, Mexico, and you get a vacation while getting your dental work done.
They can also provide you with a detailed invoice that you can use to get reimbursed from your insurance company.
