Can someone PLEASE HELP me get an estimate, on dental work?

I havent been to a dentist in a while and I know I need a lot of work done. I just got dental Insurance through my work ,first dental health PPO but I know that I will still have to pay out of pocket. I dont have much money, so I need an estimate on how much it will cost. 2 of my permanant teeth have fallen out. I also need a cleaning, and some of my teeth to be filed down to be straight, not to mention fillings for cavaties.I know, I know I should take better care of my teeth. Please someone give me an estimate. Thanks so much!!!!

Also, if you know an afordable dentist in Southern California htat would be great

Can someone PLEASE HELP me get an estimate, on dental work?
One thousand per implant, two thousand per crown, and a thousand for xrays and exam work. And an additional thousand, to two, for the cavities, but if some of the cavities need root canals, add an additional thousand for each. Good luck, a lot of dentists do offer payment plans, so, it's not all bad.
Reply:alot of money probably
Reply:Get the estimate from your dentist!
Reply:Call 1 800 dentist...they can point you in the right direction of a Dental College. You can get alot of work done for free or at a fraction of the cost if you allow the graduating class to work on you for practice. They have a real dentist supervising but if you don't mind.. do it that way.. save you alot of money and you get to help educate someone.
Reply:If you haven't been to a dentist for awhile they will take x-rays, pano, hwich is a full x-ray of your mouth. From there they will consult what you need to have done and of course what is affordable with your budget. It sounds like your teeth aren't the best so they will probably have to numb your area before they even do a cleaning which will cost extra. Your looking at a total of about 1200 bucks before you are done.
Reply:hi, pick up your phone, call a dentist, ask for a general quote on your problem, they all will tell you, an inspection is necessary,....simjk1
Reply:I can't help you with picking a dentist, except to say that I always ask friends for references on things like this. I do know about getting estimates. You just call up a dentist and explain what you want. I'm guessing most dentists (unless they're already extremely busy) would be happy to see you to do such an estimate. They will probably charge you a fee, however. Just make sure you clarify what that fee will be before you get the estimate.
Reply:My dentist charges $75 per filling and $125 for an extraction. Cleanings are on a per minute basis and are very reasonable.

And to smarty... alot is not a word in the English language. There needs to be a space between the a and lot.
Reply:You could probably get an estimate from your dentist at your first visit, he/she will take X rays and give you a visual examination to determine what you need. Fillings will come before filing down etc. because it's more for health than looks.

Most dentists will give you a list of what you'll need with an estimated price if you ask.
Reply:I can't give you an estimate but I'm sure if you call around and get a few opinions, different dentists in your area can give you some ballpark figures. Hope that helps. Good luck!
