I had a lot of dental work done yesterday. Three fillings, one tooth bonded, %26amp; had dental impressions made for a night guard. The dentist put these little rolled cotton things under my tongue while she was doing the filling %26amp; now I have a lot of soreness in that area. Also my fillings are really sensitive? Anyone else experience this?
Mouth %26amp; under tongue sore after dental work.?
I've not had the under-tongue soreness, but I have had the sensitivity with the fillings. It should go away in a few days. If it doesn't, go back to the dentist.

Reply:I have experienced that too. I think its because of all the touching around in your mouth they do. It also makes my gums sore too. So I wouldn't worry about it, just take some pain relievers.
Reply:normal honey. Rinse with salt water, warm salt for a few days. Sip warm tea and try some soup. Hope you feel better. Take tylenol or motrin.
