i have one of those jobs that provides no benefits but is a necessary evil in the long run. So i'm financially limited in seeking health care but make more than the minimal for free health insurance by the city. Does anyone know of any dentists that do really cheap work (wisdom tooth removal) that you or someone you know has used. Even those dental schools want $450 for each tooth which considering all four need removal is a bit pricey for me. Any help is appreciated.

Some of the best places to go are community colleges or dental universities in your area. There are also some dentists who do work for little or no fee.
The community colleges have hygienists who clean, x-ray, and do minor work, whatever is allowed by law in your state.
Universities have interns who are honing their skills. They usually do a great job.
Reply:I'm not in the NY area, but where I'm from there are companies who provide dental services, such as wisdom teeth removal, and compensate the patient financially in exchange for input on the effectiveness of pain medication after the procedure. Not sure if this is available in your area, but may be something to look into. Good luck to you!
