FMLA for dental work?

Under FMLA Can I be protected for dental appointment?

I need about 5 visits, and over the past 5 years I've been denied the timeof to complete te work, so they have gotten worse and I NEED to get it done. Do you think it will fall under FMLA?

FMLA for dental work?
Only if you are physically unable to perform your job because of the dental problem. FMLA is not for taking time off for medical or dental appointments. It's for extended leave of absence for health reasons, or to care for a family member.
Reply:Depends on the circumstances. Are you planning an extended period of time off or maybe one day a week? I don't really think this will be covered.
