I was in a car accident and had to get some dental work done...not tons but 2-3 teeth 1 implant and a couple veneers..my question is ive been going through this whole process for about 5 years...it seems like the guy actually making my teeth...is so slow and just not really that good at his job..but hes already been paid..so i dont want to cause this huge fuss and have this all take 5 more years...anyways my question is it seems like no matter how many times he replaces these teeth..or how long he takes doing it...he cant get the colors to match to save his life...how hard is it to match a couple teeth is it really that hard???? or does he just suck so bad at his job...it aint like its rocket science!!!!!!!!...all the teeth always come out with this unnatural gray tint...a shade basically no people under the age of 60 have...and no matter how many times he replaces them they still have this gray tint!!!!!...and my teeth arent that hard to match i have healthy clean teeth
Dental work...please help!?
Are you sure you are not exaggerating a little. (2-3 teeth, 1 implant, couple veneers, 5 years and $25,000.00?) There is no dentist in the country, that would charge that and take that long. Shading can be difficult, but the "gray" tint you describe could be the titanium shining through if there is insignificant reduction or spacing. Are they being redone and then recharged? Way too much ambiguity to offer concrete answer. Good Luck regardless.
Reply:It is your mouth and 5 years is way too long Get A New Doctor. my friend lost 6 teeth and she was fixed up beautifully in like 2 months. Your smile is important!!!
Reply:Sounds like you were ripped off. I don't know much about tooth replacements, but I think the American Dental Association website (www.ada.org) can be a starting point.
Reply:Who paid him, an insurance company or you? Either way I would fire him and if the case may be talk to the insurance company.
