I need dental work but have no insurance?
First have you been to dentist recently? Did they give you a total estimate of the cost of your treatment? Most offices carry financing options for your dental work. An other option you might consider is going to the University School of Dentistry or Community College school of dentistry in your area they usually are on a sliding scale, this means they charge you according to your gross income per year. I work in a dentist office, if you need any advice just ask....hope this helps
Reply:buy some insurance!
Reply:go to a free clinic that offers dental service.
Reply:Contact a local Dental College - they are always in need for interns to work on.
Reply:get ready to pay a lot of money
Reply:some colleges that train dentist will do the work for free or very cheap if you dont mind a student doing it they are supervised.
Reply:Pay with cash, does not cost that much to clean and check up. Or do the illegal way and borrow a friend that does have insurance.
Reply:There should be an office near you that does dentistry for people that have no insurance/low income. Call your local public aid office to find out. Have you checked w/ your college to see if they provide any services like that at a lower rate?
Reply:I suggest watching the 'Three Stooges' episode were Curley gets a tooth ache. You might start there.
Reply:well im most states they have local county health departments.there for no fee the will extract the tooth the meds are free as well.but they will not do any cosmetic work
Reply:egood, i have the same issue. what ive found out is that you can contact your local health department for free dental work but many of their dentists do not use any form of sedation or pain killers. from what ive heard some MAY, some may not so make sure if you contact them you ask them up front.
Reply:Steal a dremel tool from local hardwre store. All dentist are scared cause they know 65% of cosmetic dentistry can be done at home with medical books and a sanitized dremel tool. Or buy some insurance!
Reply:I do not have dental insurance, but i do have a discount plan which helps alot with costs... they are called National Health Care Discount. 1800-720-5055 or you can go on line to Flutternet.com and look under dentist... it costs about $150 a year for the whole family...
Reply:An affordable dental plan may help.Good Luck!
Reply:Check with the College you attend. They should be able to guide you. If you are supporting yourself or your a full time student, there are government agencies where you can get dental coverage. If your in New York there is medicaid coverage called Care Plus. Ask your College for help. Don't loose your teeth take care of them.
Reply:student loans. you might use some of that money to buy some floss also.
Reply:ask around your town most bigger cities have some kind of dental clinic that you pay depending on your income or contact a dental college or see if your college has a dental hygenist program
